Self-Reiki Treatment for Calm & Balance

This short self-Reiki treatment is designed to help you release stress, find calm, and restore balance. It’s a simple practice you can do anytime you need a moment of peace or grounding.

Step 1: Find a Quiet Space

  • Sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor, with your back straight and feet grounded. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle your mind.
  • Set an intention for your self-Reiki session, such as "I release stress" or "I welcome peace and balance."

Step 2: Begin with the Crown Chakra

  • Place your hands gently on the top of your head (crown chakra).
  • Take several deep breaths and imagine warm, healing energy flowing from your hands into your head, bringing clarity and calm.
  • Stay here for 2-3 minutes, focusing on relaxation.

Step 3: Move to the Heart Chakra

  • Place your hands over your heart (centre of your chest).
  • Breathe deeply, visualizing a gentle, loving energy flowing into your heart space.
  • Imagine this energy filling your heart with warmth and self-compassion, releasing any emotional tension. Stay here for 3-5 minutes.

Step 4: Focus on the Solar Plexus

  • Move your hands to your solar plexus (just above your stomach, below the ribcage).
  • As you breathe, feel the warmth of your hands soothing any tightness or anxiety.
  • Visualize the energy here boosting your confidence and personal power. Spend 3-5 minutes in this position.

Step 5: End with Grounding

  • Finally, place your hands on your lower abdomen (sacral chakra) or thighs.
  • Focus on feeling grounded, connected, and safe. Picture the energy flowing down from your hands, stabilizing your emotions and helping you feel secure.
  • Breathe deeply for 3-5 minutes, letting go of any remaining tension.

Step 6: Close the Session

  • Take a few final deep breaths. Slowly open your eyes and place your hands in prayer position at your heart centre.
  • Take a moment to feel gratitude for the healing energy you've given yourself and set an intention to carry this sense of peace with you throughout the day.

This mini self-Reiki treatment can be done in 10-15 minutes, helping you reset and restore balance whenever you need it.
