Compliment Chain: One person starts by giving a compliment to another family member, who then gives a compliment to someone else until everyone has both given and received a compliment…boosting self-esteem and encouraging kindness.


Memory Sharing: Family members share their favourite memories, reinforcing positive bonds and reminding everyone of happy times spent together.


Strengths and Talents: Everyone writes down the strengths and talents they see in each other on small pieces of paper. These are read aloud and discussed, highlighting each person’s unique qualities.


Kindness Jar: Place a jar in a common area with slips of paper and a pen nearby. Family members write down acts of kindness they observe or perform and place them in the jar. At the end of the week, read them together and celebrate the kindness within the family.


Mindful Moments: Collecting pebbles or shells on the beach or sticks and stones in woodland helps everyone relax and be present in nature, grounding with every step.


Creative Expression: Engage in creative activities together, such as drawing, painting, or crafting. Choose themes that promote well-being, like illustrating what happiness looks like or creating a collage of things that bring joy.


Family Storytelling: Take turns telling stories, whether made-up, personal experiences, or retelling favourite books or movies. This promotes imagination, listening skills, and a sense of closeness.


Appreciation Notes: Leave notes with positive messages or affirmations for family members to find around the house. This can be a fun surprise and a great way to uplift each other throughout the day.


Family Talent Show: Host a family talent show where each member showcases a special talent or skill. It’s a great way to celebrate each other’s abilities and have fun.
